All Our Hands, was born out of the dream and goals of co-founder, Melissa O’Dwyer. Melissa’s vision is to break new ground when empowering people of all abilities in our community: Our mission is to serve as a vibrant day centre that fosters unity, opportunity, and support for all.

Through inclusive programs, shared resources, and dedicated outreach, we aim to cultivate a thriving environment where every individual can flourish and contribute to a stronger, more connected community.

The name for All Our Hands came from Melissa’s visionary commitment to fostering a safe environment for all, while also promoting inclusivity. She conceived the All Our Hands Tree—a symbolic representation of how we can all come together and support each other whilst we aspire to do our best individually and as a community.

Within the day centre we also have a small op shop attached. All profits from the op shop will go back into the local community in the way of free and low costs events and programs.
